The Leolux Experience Center is a unique space where visitors can immerse themselves in the rich history, hospitality, and craftsmanship of the Leolux Furniture Group. Located in the heart of the Netherlands, near Utrecht—where Leolux has been based since the 1960s—the Experience Center stands as an iconic landmark along the A2 in Breukelen. Designed to complement its location, the building’s champagne-gold exterior gleams in the sunlight, while the composition of the façade takes into account the flow of the cars along the road.

The building’s distinctive design features an overhanging structure that maximizes the use of the parcel, providing expansive floor space on the upper level. The high degree of transparency in the façade creates a dynamic play of light throughout the building, enriching the interior with natural illumination. The project was also conceived with high-quality materials and innovative technology, which allows the building to achieve the highest energy efficiency standards.

Inside, the open floor plan maintains a sense of transparency and fluidity. At the heart of the space, a floating mezzanine hosts an advice square where visitors can explore the latest collections. A special function is also reserved to the staircase, that is not only a functional element that guides visitors through the building, but also serves as a stage for showcasing Leolux’s designs. The staircase passes through a tree, symbolizing Leolux’s deep connection to nature.
