philosophy

Complexity versus simplicity
We prefer to keep our work simple and easy in its appearance.
At the same time we create specific architectonic spaces that fit the assignment and ambition of our clients.

Harmony but also hierarchy guide the design process.
This approach helps direct complex projects.
Important are the people, the program, the integration of the building in the environment, innovation, sustainability and the quality of the interior spaces.

future

What the world will look like in 100 years?
Over the next hundred years the difference between static space, as we know it, and virtual space will fade. It will disappear. The skins of buildings will become intelligent systems, where technology and all functions will be fully integrated. The design will not be rigid, rooms will have no fixed dimensions, but move along in optimal form while keeping their function intact. A home will stretch or contract with family life. The skin will also provide the perfect climate, regulate temperature, humidity, light, and everything that has to do with comfort, to respond to the specific activities, needs and mood of the users. For example, a skin will anticipate the treatment of a user’s winter depression by letting more light enter the space. And, if anger is present, the skin will change color or become thicker and more rigid. The skin will automatically regulate humidity just as our own skin sweats, by releasing moisture from the environment. The future skin will provide us physical and emotional protection through a warning system just like our own. The difference between the human skin and architectural skin will fade. The perfection of our bodies will be in architecture.

In this future, living and working will function in the same skin.

Everyone will have his own business. Hierarchy will disappear, everyone will have a responsibility. Working together will be virtual, socializing will be virtual and will have as much emotional value as meeting in person. Future architecture will be self-sufficient and can operate where previously no one could live and work, such as in open seas and oceans, deserts and other extreme environments where few people can even linger, places even in the air and on the moon. Today, traditional cities are often built on fertile ground. In the future, we will have a more intelligent relationship with the earth. There will be a natural balance between primal nature and the artificial world. We will apply our intelligence differently. We will interfere less with nature. We will create such intelligent settlements that nature will have the space to flourish again. Thus, the difference between man and animal will only increase.
